“I took the photo at my local beach, Cronulla in Southern Sydney. I used a Canon 7D camera with a 10-22mm wide angle lens and 0.9 soft grad filter from cokin. My settings were: F16, ISO100, 10mm with 0.5 seconds shutter speed. My main inspiration came from my fellow photographers, I saw a few similar ideas and I loved the concept. I decided and wanted to try it myself. It took me dozen of tries to get the shot the way I wanted to. It was tricky to keep the chair still enough for my long exposure. The ocean was rather wild that day, so the chair kept falling over and was getting swept into the sea, but the patience and persistence paid off at the end.” – Sonia
