“I love ViewBug! I was so excited the first time I won for one of my photos. Wow a hundred dollars and all I did was post a photo. Soon after that win I realized there was so much more to ViewBug than just the winning a challenge, it was a community. Now I start my mornings with a quick look at what others have said about my photos, then I go comment on other photos from all of the great users out there. This is not like some of the other photo sites I visited, this is a true community. I have received several suggestions on the composition of my photos and boy with just a few tweaks to a photo it looked great and the community agreed. I received many positive comments on that photo since I made those changes.
The ViewBug Blog is also a great place to pickup tips and learn new and interesting techniques. The seamless integration with Twitter and other social media sites is also a real plus. I can find a photo on ViewBug and with one button I can Tweet that photo. Great feature! In addition Facebook and many other sites are supported the ease of sharing a photo with friends that have never even seen ViewBug is so easy.
The reward system is unique and fun! At first I just thought, “oh get points, more points.” But after a few days I realized that the rewards system is a great method to see and connect with others. Now I look forward to looking at others work and the points just roll in.
Communities are a great way to connect with others that share your passion. I never thought that I would find others with my interests on a photo site but from pets to boats to sunsets there is a community for you. These are a great way to bond with others that share your passion.
Overall I have never seen a photo site that has the features and users that ViewBug has.”
